Come on Mike. You seem like a nice enough guy. Outside of the hating evolution, gays, and immigrants stuff. I even found something to like about you when you talked about supporting music and arts programs in education. But Mike, you’re not catching up. You’re in a two-way race and you’re not even in second place! You’re still behind Mitt Romney and he dropped out almost two weeks ago.
You say you want to keep the focus on your issues. Keep this from being a coronation. But Mike… no one’s listening anymore. John McCain isn’t even saying your name anymore. He’s talking about his eventual Democratic opponent. He’s not focused on your issues. He’s already pivoted for the general election. He started closer to the center than any of you guys and he’s already moving even further that way to grab those independent and conservative Democratic votes in November.
Mike, I know your speaking fee goes up every day you stay on the campaign trail. But stop talking about winning. It doesn’t make you sound determined. It just makes you sound crazy.
